Elephant Bowl For Fin

This bowl was commissioned by parents Andrew and Lisa to celebrate the arrival of their new litte baby boy.  The bowl was wheelthrown and handturned by Dan Baptista, and the images were designed and handpainted by Alicia Schubert.  The bowl was glazed and fired to stoneware, and the shape was designed to be super stable so that little Fin could use it as soon as possible!

 

It is an absolute pleasure to create pieces to celebrate such wonderful events!
